The Mount Vernon Chamber of Commerce was formed in 1912 and incorporated in the State of New York in 1931. The Chamber was organized for the purpose of advancing the economic, industrial, professional, cultural and civic welfare of the Mount Vernon community. This not-for-profit organization encourages the growth of existing industries and business while giving assistance to any new firms or individuals seeking to locate in the Mount Vernon area. The Chamber focuses on the needs of businesses and provides information and resources to help them increase sales, enhance productivity and improve their bottom line.
